Jenna is a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years’ experience in the specialty of diabetes and chronic diseases.  She has worked extensively in public diabetes services caring for people in the greater Brisbane area and across the north west region of Tasmania.

Jenna is experienced in Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes.

She has a special interest in:

• diabetes technologies including insulin pump therapy and continual glucose monitoring systems for people with Type 1 Diabetes
• insulin therapy, initiation and stabilisation for all types of diabetes
• determining “next step” in pharmacological treatments for Type 2 Diabetes
• education and skill learning for people recently diagnosed with diabetes

Jenna prides herself on being a team player and working with people with diabetes and their care team members, such as specialists, GP’s and allied health to ensure a unified approach for your health care needs.

She grew up in Tasmania, moving to Brisbane 6 years ago with her husband and son, for the warmer weather.
