Dr Eleasa was born in Toronto, Canada and made the big move Down Under in 2009 to study medicine in Brisbane. She completed her medical internship in Bundaberg and Hervey Bay, before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete her general practice training.
Since she received her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017, she has worked in Nambour and Landsborough, and locumed in clinics in Cherbourg, Taree, and Alice Springs.
She has particular interests in women’s health and mental health, having completed the RANZCOG Diploma in 2015, and is able to offer extended consultations for Focussed Psychological Skills having completed Level 2 Mental Health Skills Training with the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine (ASPM).
Eleasa’s heritage is Chinese, her family having immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong. She speaks Cantonese Chinese, and enjoys running, reading theology, and checking out new places to eat.
