At Manly Village Medical we are committed to continuing to provide excellent health care for our patients during the present pandemic. To be able to do this, we ask all of you to please work with us to minimise risks to yourself and others. Please follow the instructions of our reception staff and any signs or messages you receive from us.
As we adapt to the evolving situation, we will aim to meet your needs in different ways and preserve access to medical services.
You will notice some changes in the practice environment as we adhere to social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to wait outside rather than inside the waiting room. You need to wear a mask when entering the Practice.
Covid-19 Vaccinations
Manly Village Medical is no longer participating in the National Covid-19 Vaccination programme.
Telephone Consultations
We are continuing to offer telephone consultations, to maintain continuity of care for our patients who are experiencing difficulties with attending in person, or are self-isolating. This reduces exposure risks for both doctors and patients.
Telephone consultations are privately billed, with bulk-billing available at doctor’s discretion.
If you are unwell with ANY of the following symptoms: Fever, Sore throat, Cough, Shortness of breath, Runny nose, or Headache, or have been in contact with anyone with Covid-19
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER the practice.
Instead, please ring reception on Ph: 3396 2141 and you will be offered a phone consultation.
Your GP will discuss your symptoms and advise you on appropriate management. If they determine you will need testing for Coronavirus, they arrange testing for you at a local pathology provider.
We are not performing any testing for Coronavirus in person due to the risks to the doctor and other people in the practice.
