What value do you put on your health?
At Manly Village Medical, we aim to provide superior health care that is affordable. The Australian government funded Medicare scheme subsidises the cost of a person’s health care. However, the Medicare rebate alone does not cover the cost of delivering high quality health care. Hence, there is a “gap” or out-of-pocket cost for our services.
For all new patients, a deposit of $80.00 is required to secure your appointment. This deposit is then credited towards your first appointment with your new GP. For more information regarding our fees and non-attendance policies, please refer to our FAQs.
To assist our patients, we offer concessional rates for pension card holders. DVA Gold card holders are fully subsidised.
Bulk-billing is available in certain exceptional circumstances, at the Doctor’s discretion. Some Doctors bulk-bill children under 2 years old on weekdays, over-65 year old vaccinations, and chronic disease management plans; however all weekend consultations will attract a fee.
Please see below for a more comprehensive list of our consultation fees. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly reception team.

A fee will be charged for non-attendance of appointments.
A non-attendance fee applies to appointments not attended, and also appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled less than 2 hours prior to the appointment time.
This will be $45.00 for a standard consultation or $85.00 for a long appointment that has been booked but not attended. Extenuating circumstances will be taken into account.
Appointments need to be cancelled more than 2 hours before the appointment, to avoid paying a late cancellation fee.
