Dr Maria Nicolaou

Dr Maria Nicolaou graduated from the University of Queensland in 2013. She has a wide range of clinical experience, having worked in the Queensland Health hospital system for five years before moving into general practice. Prior to that she completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy.

She has an eye for detail and aims to consistently provide the most up to date, evidence-based health care. Her special interests include bladder and prostate issues, women’s health, antenatal care and the early detection and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular and kidney disease.

Maria and her partner are avid birders who love spending time in nature, and can often be found roaming the wetlands in Brisbane in the early hours of the morning.
